Claude Chartre (born December 21, 1949 in Grand-Riviere, Quebec) is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey centre. He played in 18 WHA games with the New York Raiders, New York Golden Blades, New Jersey Knights, Michigan Stags, and Baltimore Blades over parts of three seasons. He played junior hockey for the Thetford Mines Canadiens and was chosen 81st overall by the Philadelphia Flyers in the 1969 NHL Amateur Draft. He turned pro with the Quebec Aces in 1969-70 and then played for the Jersey Devils and Long Island Ducks in the Eastern Hockey League.

From 1972-73 through 1974-75 Chartre played part time in the World Hockey Association, scoring 2 goals and 3 assists in 18 games. He then played until 1978 in the minor pros and retired.
