  • King Henry VIII is the real-life King who ruled from 1509 to 1547.
  • Henry VIII (28 June 1491 – 28 January 1547) was a Muggle who reigned as King of England from 1509 until his death. His second wife, Anne Boleyn, was believed to have been a witch by Muggles, but may have actually been Squib. Elizabeth I was Henry's daughter by Anne Boleyn. Mary I was his daughter by his first wife, Catherine of Aragon, whom he divorced.

  • Henry VIII is an achievement in Fable III which tasks you with getting married to NPC's 6 times and killing 2 of your spouses after becoming the Ruler of Albion. Player marriages are not counted for this achievement. The achievement is easier to unlock with a good character because most NPC's will be neutral towards you at worst. It is not truly difficult to unlock with an evil character, it is simply more tedious because NPC's may fear you which will require you to do extra relationship quests to cause them to love you.
  • Henry the Eighth was a king in England on Earth. He was married to the romantic historical figure Anne Boleyn. In 2367, when Data learned that Jenna D'Sora dissolved her relationship with Jeff Arton, Data began studying romantic love. Six weeks later, Data reminded Jenna of the many difficulties she had in her relationship with Jeff. He brought up the example of Anne Boleyn as another lover who had difficulties in her relationship. She was upset when she discovered that her husband preferred the company of his huntsmen to her. (TNG: "In Theory" )
  • Henry VIII is the fifth tutorial available to the player. This tutorial is for the experienced player and sets them in a world where they must defend against Scottish raids.
  • Henry VIII (1491-1547) was king of England, infamous for his many marriages. His conflicts with the Catholic church when attempting to have his marriage to Catherine of Aragon annulled led to the establishment of the Church of England. The portrait by Hans Holbein captures the popular image of the later Henry: bearded, overweight, and arrogant.
  • Besides his six marriages, Henry VIII is known for his role in the separation of the Church of England from the Roman Catholic Church. In "Foreign Affairs", Peter teaches Chris and Meg about historical figures. A cutaway depicts Henry VIII in bed with one of his wives and notes than when he has her beheaded he'll keep her head.
  • Henry was studied by the 23rd century historian Alexander Lazarus, who created an android, with the psi-clone, and imbued it with Henry's personality and history. This android, like other androids of Lazarus, created a city on Gamma Alpha V. He was likely destroyed in the explosion of Gamma Alpha V on Stardate 10:26.3. (TOS comic: "The Legacy of Lazarus")
  • The man with six wives. Every British person can remember what happened to them -- "divorced, beheaded, died, divorced, beheaded, survived". Actually the "spare" to his elder brother Arthur, he ended up in line to the throne after Arthur died (marrying his brother's widow, Catherine of Aragon, the first 'Spanish' Princess, the realms of Aragon and Castille having been united (temporarily, people thought) by the marriage of her parents). He was only 18 when he came to the throne and engaged in some Wacky Fratboy Hijinx in his early years as King (he and some male buddies once burst into the Queen's bedchamber dressed as Robin Hood and his Merry Men). A redhead, he does remind one of his contemporary namesake, Prince Henry of Wales (Prince Harry).
  • Henry VIII was an irritable, foul-tempered, nasty brute with ginger hair and an 'orrid beard, which was a typical look for sex obsessive men. He was most famous for having 4 headed wives and 2 headless wives. Despite this he still managed to get 18 women, because THIS IS SPARTA of the magnificent girth and length of his wealth, power, stomach and codpiece. Henry VIII was addicted to Viagra cookies, which he believed would increase his chances of having a son. This has been noted as a contributing factor to both his large ... ahem ... cod-piece and XXL stomach. Henry VIII was a well educated individual, studying many languages like Welsh, y Gymraeg, Cymraeg, Insular Britonic, Walsh, Walch, Welch and Wealh-specan. He also studied musical instruments, Latin swearwords and telecommunications.
  • The Seventh Doctor claimed to have helped the Tudors with their problems with aphids. He maintained that Henry might have written "Greenfly" instead of "Greensleeves" if it hadn't been for him. (PROSE: Tragedy Day) Before he met Ian Chesterton and Barbara Wright, the First Doctor once argued with Henry VIII, so Henry threw a parson's nose at him. The Doctor threw it back. This argument was actually intentional of the Doctor, so he would be sentenced to the Tower of London, where the TARDIS was located. (TV: "Strangers in Space")
