  • G-4PO (nicknamed "The Iron Man" in popular culture) was a 4PO series protocol droid. He was presumably constructed on Tatooine at a time long before the clone wars. The Iron Man is famous for his defeat of a pack of Supermassive Space Dragons that attempted to make a colony of the planet Tatooine. He boasted to the sentient dragons that he was more durable than any of them. To prove this, he lay in a bonfire for ten minutes, and then asked the dragons if they could lay on the surface of Tatoo I for the same length of time. After the dragons succeeded, he lay back in the bonfire for a further 15 minutes, forcing the dragons to do the same. Eventually, the Iron Man managed to get 6 of the invading dragons to incinerate themselves in the bright yellow star and force the rest of them to flee in disgrace. This story became a legend in Tatooine folklore.
