| - Thursday is a very important day in the Universe and the fourth day in the human week.
- A day of the week (pronounced: THERZ-day}, normally depicted as the fourth day, when weeks begin on Sunday, using the Gregorian calendar, not the Jew calendar, which says that God rested on Saturday, which isn't true because God partied on Saturday.
- Thursday has been known through-out the world as pre-Friday ever since Friday came out. Thursday was everyone's favorite game for centuries, as being a sequel to wednesday: Humpday. Thursday had all kinds of features,such as Thanksgiving, boring T.V. shows, football, and sometimes birthdays and Christmas! An added bonus is that it came out on the playstation 2, which was already pretty badass at the time. Then, along came Father time came along and released Friday: Weekends beginning. Everybody sold their Thursday and bought a Friday. Nowadays, Thursday is favorited only by those who don't do aything afterward.
- Thursday is one of the nineteen Records. It is a record that plays the background music of "The Mermaid Princess" chapter. It is used on the record player in the Reception Room of the Rose Garden Orphanage. It can be found, using the Tuesday record, in the Dormitory at nighttime, in "The Funeral" chapter. It can later be used to find the Friday record.

- Thursday is a recurring character in the Disgaea series. Since being built by the genius martial artist Jennifer when she was 5 years old, Thursday the All Purpose Robot has always been by her side.
- Thursday is a nameless villain from the book Shadow of the Gallows by Terry Deary. He is an Irish Fenian, who plans to murder Queen Victoria during her visit in Edinburgh. His accomplices are Sunday and Tuesday. They hate Victoria, because they believe she did nothing for the Irish people during the Great Famine in Ireland and gave only five pounds to help them.

- Thursday is a post-hardcore band from New Brunswick, New Jersey that has released four full-length albums. The band's most recent release, a split with Japanese screamo act Envy, is out now on Temporary Residence Limited. According to the band's myspace, they signed with Epitaph Records. Their next full-length album, Common Existence, is scheduled for release on February 17, 2009.

- From what is implied in The End by Ishmael, Thursday left the island shortly after the Baudelaire parents left. It can be assumed that he and Miranda disagreed as to whether they should return to the world after what happened in V.F.D. Because of this disagreement, Miranda told her daughter Friday, after she was born, that her father died during the storm that washed her up on the island, and was eaten by a manatee. This makes absolutely no sense, as manatees are herbivores, but as Friday has known nothing but the island, she would not know that this isn't true.
