Leonard and Sheldon encounter a young woman named Katie crying on the curb, having been left homeless by a break-up with her boyfriend. Leonard, despite Sheldon's objections, invites her to dinner and then to stay a few days at their apartment. She is abrasive, sexy, hard, and sarcastic, but she softens a little when she discovers that the guys aren't trying to get something from her. In the end, she decides she'll crash at their place for a while.

- The Unaired Pilot is a 60 minute pilot episode of Sherlock that was made but not broadcast. The pilot follows the same plot as "A Study in Pink", and was originally intended to be the first episode of the show; however, the BBC decided that they wanted Sherlock to have 90 minute episodes and asked the team to remake it. The pilot episode was subsequently released as an extra on the series DVDs.

- The Unaired Pilot is the 30 minute long pilot used to present Charmed to the networks. After being picked up by The WB and the recasting of Phoebe and Andy's parts, additional scenes were written and (re)shot.
- The pilot for Full House was never aired – though it is included on the Season 1 DVD. Bob Saget was busy under contract hosting CBS's The Morning Program, so the role of Danny Tanner was played by John Posey. Jesse Katsopolis' original name was "Jesse Cochran." John Stamos wanted his name to reflect on his Greek culture, so his name was later changed. The closing theme song is also vocal, like the opening, which has the show's title all on one line.
