Vincent Joseph "Boomer" Scott (July 10, 1925—July 13, 1992) was a Canadian football player. He played for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, and was later a Hamilton city councillor. He became a Canadian citizen in the mid-1950s Scott was defeated in his bid for re-election in 1985. He suffered a stroke the following year, and never fully recovered. He died in 1992 following a lengthy illness. In 2007, he was inducted into the New York State Public High School Athletic Association Section V Football Hall of Fame.
