During the series Mat Cauthon periodically has the impression that dice are tumbling around inside his head. This may be an aspect of Foretelling unique to Mat. This generally indicates some impending event which when reached, the dice will stop. Mat generally has no idea what is going to happen or when. There are times when more than one set of dice are tumbling around. The first occurrence of tumbling dice is when he decides to rescue Egwene, Elayne and Nynaeve from the Stone of Tear.
