The Great Void is the infinite space surrounding the Material Plane, the Astral Plane, and the Netherworld. It is primeval - it has always existed. It is not a place where physical beings can survive, and thus its only inhabitants are the equally primeval Ten Voidgods who brought all other things into creation. The Voidgods exist purely as a state of being; they possess no physical bodies, but are simply a conglomeration of wills. They have never left the Great Void, as they are able to observe all creation (and alter it) from within its vastness.

  • The Great Void was a region which bordered in the north with the Yodotai Empire, which bordered to the west with the Senpet lands, the Burning Sands and the Western Wastes, and to the south with the Ivory Kingdoms. It was visited by Yodotai Scouts, caravans from the Ivory Kingdoms, and the Ra'Shari used these lands to make camps.

  • The Great Void (中央大空洞(グレートボイド), Gurēto Boido?, lit. "central large cavity") was a bottomless hole in Jötunheimr in ALfheim Online that existed directly below Thrymheim, around 1km below Alfheim.
  • Great Void is the infinite empty space that surrounds the world. It is one of the major tenets of Brogmoidism that the Great Brogmoid "saveth us from plunging into the Great Void." One of the major discoveries of the year 883 GUE was the fact that the Great Void is not entirely empty since other worlds do indeed exist below and above this one, supported by a presumably infinite string of Brogmoids. One who would attempted to jump off the bottom of the world, would fall to a new, wondrous world where purple forests surround lakes of molten rock, volcanoes belch green-blue smoke into the sky, and enormous slug-shaped creatures, a bloit long, engage in fierce combat.
