Grace and Norman divorced after Clemon's graduation from the Ranger Academy. On the day of the divorce's officiation, Clemon wouldn't let go of his little sister until their parents dragged them apart. Clemon went with Norman, while Serena went with Grace. Clemon promised he would return to Serena when she was on her journey.

  • David has been Clemon's valued partner since he recieved him from Korrina at the Tower of Mastery. Even before that when they met on Kalos Route 4, Clemon and David have had a strong bond. They value each other very much. At one point David was traded away by someone who claimed David was there's. David then devolved back into a Riolu, and was released. He was then found by Clemon once again. After several battles and vigorous training, David was able to evolve back into a unfortunately David could no longer mega-evolve because of the loss of his mega stone. However, Clemon didn't care he had his partner back.
