B-10PO was the loyal protocol droid belonging to Shade Laonash Kenobi. He was a gold-plated droid with silver-rusted legs. His astromech droid companion R2-Q4, was his best friend until he was finally switched off in 234 ABY after all his masters, including Shade, R2 and Ben, had died. He was put to use again in 269 ABY after being found in a junk yard by a group of Jawas. He survived seemingly longer than his companion R2-Q4 who was switched off in 12 ABY and sat as an ornament in a village on Endor, where R2-Q4 made his final battle appearance. B-10PO was also used as a protocol droid for a young girl named Cavita, who was a female Imperial officer, but 10PO was returned back to his original owner in 1 ABY.
