- On April 14, 1865, Booth assassinated the 16th President of the United States, Abraham Lincoln. By a strange coincidence, like Lee Harvey Oswald, who was charged with the assassination of John F. Kennedy on November 22, 1963, Booth himself ultimately ended up being killed. In 1931, a photo of Booth was used in the mind map test for the Mental alignment meter. His assassination of Lincoln was meant to prompt a negative response from a Model Citizen.
