As Bob, the Titan returns to help Percy and Annabeth Chase escape from Tartarus. As the realm of Tartarus allows immortals to heal, Bob's memories of Iapetus are recovered, However, in the end, Bob decides to become more than Iapetus and help Percy and Annabeth close the Doors of Death in order to defeat Gaea,
