Sheriff Williams was a sheriff called by Woody at the time David Apolskis came in his shop.
Sheriff Williams pulled over John Locke after he was picked up Eddie in his truck. The sheriff informed Locke that his tail light was out and instructed them to both exit the vehicle. The sheriff questioned Locke as to what was in the back and Locke responded "guns and groceries", and provided the necessary documents as well. The sheriff then made claim that he could still take Locke in for picking up a hitchhiker, and Eddie interjected by stating that Locke was his uncle. It is unknown whether or not Sheriff Williams and Eddie were in on it together.
The Sheriff wears a name tag with "Williams" on it; however this character is listed simply as "Sheriff" in the ABC Medianet press release for this episode.
