Prior to production of The Muppet Movie, director James Frawley shot a series of short camera tests in the English countryside featuring Kermit the Frog, Fozzie Bear, Sweetums, and Miss Piggy, to determine how the Muppets would appear when filmed in real-life locations. The camera tests appeared on Columbia Tri-Star's 2001 DVD release of The Muppet Movie, and were screened for an audience at MuppetFest. An extended, restored cut of the camera tests is featured on Disney's Blu-ray release of the film.
