Jason Bollinger was the political opponent of the murder victim Jeff Horn in "Hell Hath No Fury". Whilst initially an obvious choice for someone who might want Mr. Horn gone, it rapidly emerges that Mr. Bollinger is in fact enjoying a very comfortable lead in the polls, and sitting on an ace-in-the-hole - photographic evidence of his rival's infidelity. Later in "Pretty Dead", Victor Baron's alibi was he was having drinks with "Councilman" Bollinger until about one in the morning.

  • Jason Bollinger was the political opponent of the murder victim Jeff Horn in "Hell Hath No Fury". With all this going for him, Bollinger is actually sorry to lose Horn as an opponent, and even more so when Mrs. Laurie Horn, the grieving widow, announces her candidacy in his stead, since Bollinger fears that the sympathy vote would have them running neck and neck, and to use the infidelity photos now would just make him look bad. In the end, however, it seems as if Bollinger becomes the next City Councilman, as someone with that precise title and name is mentioned, in passing, in "Last Call". Later in "Pretty Dead", Victor Baron's alibi was he was having drinks with "Councilman" Bollinger until about one in the morning.
