Among her other roles was TV movie Walter, starring Ian McKellen and notable for being part of Channel 4's launch night in 1982. She still acts but is most known now as a scriptwriter for Emmerdale. She also wrote the 2003 BBC Afternoon Play Heroes and Villains, starring Tracie Bennett.
