According to a 2006 ACG interview, he is now working as a financial advisor in California, US. He stated that he had not been offered any other roles in film or computer games. Interestingly, in the interview he said, "I barely worked with Joanne Takahashi (who plays Grace Nakimura in The Beast Within), because our time on-set overlapped by only a week or so." Dean also appeared on the television show, Frasier. In the episodes entitled S01E02 "Space Quest", S01E04 "I hate Frasier Crane", S01E15 "You Can't Tell a Crook By His Cover", S01E16 "The Show Where Lilith Comes Back" and S01E17 "A Midwinter Night's Dream" he depicts a waiter longing to be a musician.
