Zamorak was born on Freneskae from his parents as a Mahjarrat. Later, Icthlarin came there and declared himself the owner of the Mahjarrats. The Mahjarrats unanimously agreed, but Zamorak had doubts about this new leader. In the end, he he didn't like being "owned" by Icthlarin and convinced the other guys to overthrow him, to the favor of Scabaras. Later he became best friends with the new leader, Zaros. He even let Zaros call him "Zammy". However over the years, he grew more paranoid, and eventually betrayed Zaros. He stabbed Zaros with the Armadyl Stick and became a god. He then took advantage of Guthix's napping and decided to take over the world. However, Armadyl wouldn't allow this and started to fight Zamorak. Sara later joined Armadyl. This allowed Zammy to destroy almost all good in this world as well as the world itself, but Guthix woke up and fixed everything. The three are now roommates. However the fear of Zaros returning is very present in Zamorak and he will freak out whenever he hears "Zaros".
