A Fambaa is a four-legged creature from Naboo. It only appears in the Star Wars video games. They carried the Gungan shield generators into battle which helped them defend the gungans from oncoming Trade Federation MTTs that carried fleets of droids. Two Fambaas were needed, one to carry it and one to project it into a sphere. The shield generator was capable of absorbing any energized bolts fired at it.

- The Fambaas are among the largest terrestrial fauna of planet Naboo. They are huge non-sapient amphibianoids that live on the swamps. They are known to knock down large trees in order to feed on the leaves, though they also eat ground flora and underwater flora. These large beasts travel in herds. Like Earth's amphibians, they lay lots of gelatinous eggs and are born in the water, with gills and a moist skin that becomes thicker as they grow. Fambaas are one of the many Naboo creatures used as beasts of burden by the Gungans.

Fambaa have been domesticated by the Gungans, and carry huge loads such as immense shield generators used by the Gungans. While moving underwater, the Gungans abandoned small groups of fambaa, which eventually established their own packs.
- Fambaas were quadruped creatures that could be found on the planets Naboo and Onderon. Biologists surmised that both the fambaas and the falumpasets of Onderon were originally brought there by Nabooan merchants, but there was little fossil evidence to back up that hypothesis. During a fight on Great Grass Plains, they were deployed with Kaadus to support the Gungan Grand Army, carrying large deflector shield generators on their back.
