The crux of the scheme was a meticulously made forgery of a well that, although only a few feet deep, looked to descend deep into the earth. Sarah and Jimmy both fell for it, and each dropped a quarter into the well to make a wish. Although the scam was successful, Edd's point wasn't to make money, but rather to teach Eddy about the possible usage of and science behind optical illusions. Before he could go too far into detail, though, Ed interrupted, telling them that he was a sumo wrestler. At these various places, players may trade a Red Imaginate Crystal, worth 100 coins each and obtainable at various vendors, for coins and random items. Many people spend vast amounts of money on these wells in the hope of receiving rare items. The rarity of the items and number of items that the fountain gives decreases if a player uses the same fountain repeatedly. The rarity and quantity default settings will be restored upon moving to a different area in that world and back.
