| - Hodges was responsible for designing the interior of the Danube-class runabout, a design that was subsequently reused for several other Federation and alien spacecraft. He also designed the Zibalian escape pod set for the episode "The Most Toys" . Beside Star Trek, Hodges worked as set designer on Steven Spielberg's fantasy adventure Hook (1991), Francis Ford Coppola's horror film Dracula (1992), the action comedy Maverick (1994), the action thriller True Lies (1994), the drama The Shawshank Redemption (1994), the thriller Disclosure (1994), the science fiction film Tank Girl (1995, starring Lori Petty and Malcolm McDowell), the drama Apollo 13 (1995), the television science fiction series Space: Above and Beyond (1995-1996), and the video game Need for Speed: Undercover (2008) on which he also worked as director. Following his work as assistant art director on the science fiction thriller Virtuosity (1995), Hodges was the art director on the thriller Kiss the Girls (1997), the comedy RocketMan (1997), the romance Living Out Loud (1998), and the fantasy adventure John Carter (2012). His credits as production designer include the family movie Treasure of Pirate's Point (1999), the television series Jack & Jill (1999), the comedy The Big Tease (1999), the movie Scriptfellas (1999), the television comedy More, Patience (2001), and the television series Terra Nova (2011). Between 2001 and 2009 he also worked as production designer on the drama series 24 and joined the production crew between 2006 and 2009 as co-producer. He held the same positions on the television mini series 24: Day Six – Debrief (2007) and the following movie 24: Redemption (2008). In addition, he was interviewed for several special features and directed three episodes of 24. In 2004 and 2007 he received Excellence in Production Design Award nominations from the Art Directors Guild for his work on 24.
- Joseph Hodges was the production designer on 24. He designed sets for seven seasons, as well as directing the action sequences on the DVD prequels and the 2nd Unit for Season 4, 5, 6 and 7. Hodges left the show in 2009 after completing Season 7 and was not involved in the eighth season. He was also a co-producer for seasons 6 and 7. Although not credited for the pilot episode, the opening sequence set in the Ext. Malaysian street, the Int. where the Agent makes the call back to the US and the interior of the Washington Party were all added after the pilot had been shot and were designed by Joseph. It should be noted also that the CTU from the pilot was a location and the CTU was designed by Joseph following the flavor of this location shot in the pilot.
