His profession used to be shoe polisher, but during his time in Mäöres he became interested in politics. Unable to break through to the national level there, he tried in Lovia and eventually got elected in Congress in 2012. Góldhammer is a devout Roman Catholic and can be found in church every Sunday. His political ideology could be described as center-right, socio-liberal, pro-minorities and Christian Democracy.
