Cliff Huxtable worked as a door-to-door abortionist, while his lovely wife Clair was a sex-line operator, usually using the phone out of the girls' room. The Huxtable residence was also entirely different as well as it was set in a 13x5 cardboard mansion (that was beautifully painted and decorated by set decorator Mary Hogwash.
