James "Jimmy" Devellano (born January 18, 1943 in Toronto, Ontario currently serves as the senior vice-president of the Detroit Red Wings National Hockey League (NHL) team and vice-president of the Detroit Tigers Major League Baseball team. In the 1960s, Devellano was employed by the Canadian government in an administrative capacity. During his frequent business trips, Devellano watched as many major junior hockey games as he could, and eventually found a job with the St. Louis Blues, working on spec as an amateur scout.

In the 1960s, Devellano was employed by the Canadian government in an administrative capacity. During his frequent business trips, Devellano watched as many major junior hockey games as he could, and eventually found a job with the St. Louis Blues, working on spec as an amateur scout. He went on to work for the New York Islanders. He won three Stanley Cups with the Islanders, two as scout 1980, 1981 and one as Assistant General Manager/Director of Scouting 1982. He joined the Detroit Red Wings and won four more Stanley Cups as the Wings' Senior Vice President 1997, 1998, 2002, and 2008. He was also has a Major League Baseball American League championship ring with the Detroit Tigers in 2006 as Senior Vice President.
