The golden poison dart frog, Phyllobates terribilis, is a species of poison dart frog endemic to Colombia. It is the largest species of poison dart frog, growing as large as Bufo fowleri and is also the most toxic animal known, bar none. The optimal habitat of P. terribilis is the rainforest with high rain rates (5 m or more), temperature of at least 26 °C, and relative humidity of 80–90%.
