- Kel Dor are a species that originate from the planet Dorin and they have to wear breathing masks. A well known Kel Dor is Jedi Master Plo Koon.
- The Kel Dor were a sentient species native to the planet Dorin. In order to survive oxygen-rich environments, they were required to wear specialized breath masks that covered their eyes and nostrils. A notable Kel Dor was Jedi Master Plo Koon, who served on the Jedi Council prior to the fall of the Jedi Order. He was among the Jedi killed during Order 66.

- The Kel Dor are a race of aliens who have highly developed sensory organs and a natural aptitude for perception. They hail from a world named Dorin, whose position between two black holes gives it a radically different type of atmosphere, one that would be toxic to most beings. The species travels off world often enough that a Kel Dor with a breathing mask is not such an uncommon sight. The sophisticated pair of goggles and breathing mask are required for Kel Dor who leave their homeworld to filter out oxygen atoms, which have proven to be most dangerous to the Kel Dor. Kel Dor are attentive almost to the point of being conspicuous, however their odd behavior is mild in comparison with other alien species.
- This species required masks to protect them when in oxygen-rich atmospheres. In fact oxygen, carbon dioxide and nitrogen gases were all poisonous to Kel Dor physiology. These gas filtering masks covered the facial structures of the Kel Dorians which due to its unique structures were considered unattractive to most other species. However these remarkably unique facial features also contained extrasenory organs which helped attribute to the species natural force sensitivity.
