  • The Space Tower is a weapon that appeared in Doraemon: Nobita's Space Heroes. Prior to the start of the movie, the leader of the notorious space pirates, Ikaros, lost his powers for some unknown reasons, and had to be kept in a special jar to stay alive. He wanted to enhance his devastated body with the purest coal in the galaxy, which stays in the core of the planet Arumasu, a diamond planet that reflects light from a star onto the neighboring planet Pokkuru. His subordinates - Hyde, Meba and Ogon - disguised themselves as representatives of the intergalactic company Space Partner and convinced the naive inhabitants of planet Pokkuru to let them improve the land and re-open as Pokkuru Land. Their real purpose was to charge the Space Tower, an energy cannon, with the planet's energy and use it to destroy Arumasu, so their boss can enhance his body by absorbing the coal at the core while they invest the fragments of diamond. The draining of Pokkuru's energy would destroy the planet. However, the moment the blast is shot and Arumasu fractures, Doraemon and his friends freeze the energy blast with the combination of "Coagulation Light" and "Big Light", and use "Director Burger"'s reverse to rewind time, restoring Arumasu and returning the energy back to Pokkuru Planet.
