Arado Flugzeugwerke was a German aircraft manifacturer. It's origins were as the Warnemunde factory of the Flugzeugbau Friedrichshafen company. The company had to ends its manifacturing of aircraft at the end of World War 1 because the restrictions on German aircraft in the Treaty of Versailles. However in 1925 it started producing aircraft again, albeit illegally. In 1933 when the Nazi's rose to power Arado started to produce more aircraft. They produced the Arado Ar 66 which was one of the most prominent Luftwaffe trainer planes for many years.
