- Per Dune si intende sia la visionaria opera novecentesca del poeta grossetano Franco Erberti (un vecchio sporcaccione a cui piaceva scrivere di deliziosi ragazzi che combattono nudi e sudati), sia la religione da essa nata. Da molti considerato il più grande libro di fantascienza mai scritto dopo la Bibbia e i libri della Tamaro, Dune narra quanto la religione e l'abuso di cose che profumano di cannella facciano male. L'opera letteraria è stata con abilità trasposta in moltolungometraggio, videogioco e una sequela interminabile di sequel (che peraltro fanno cagare a spruzzo) e di prequel (scritti da quel pirla del figlio di Herbert, Brian).
