Caspolich then made his next start in 1959, returning to Darlington. This time he had a much better go of it, falling twenty-two laps down but still driving to a solid 13th place finish. Caspolich's final career race came in 1961, when he made his return to Darlington. But this time would prove to be a struggle for the driver, starting 22nd finishing 37th after the rear end gear gave out.

Caspolich's next five races came in 1960, a season in which Caspolich would find respectable results. He only failed to finish one start and finished no worse than 25th after making the presitigous Daytona 500. He cracked the top-fifteen twice, finishing 13th in the Daytona 500 Qualifier event and then a career-best 12th place run at Darlington. Caspolich's final career race came in 1961, when he made his return to Darlington. But this time would prove to be a struggle for the driver, starting 22nd finishing 37th after the rear end gear gave out.
