| - rightEh Ned, soy Carey, ¿te acuerdas de mí? La jefa de comunicaciones de la oficina del alcalde. Nos conocimos en aquella recaudación de fondos del año pasado, cuando trataste de meterme mano y te vomitaste encima.
A pesar de eso, pensaba que eras un buen amigo del alcalde Hole. Ya sabes que R.C. ha sido uno de los mejores alcaldes que ha tenido esta ciudad. Un líder de verdad en estos tiempos difíciles.
Ha subido los impuestos y ha llevado a cabo una enorme e innovadora reducción del gasto público paralela a un incremento de los costes burocráticos, y al mismo tiempo ha conseguido que Liberty City no falte nunca en las noticias nacionales. La historia recordará favorablemente a Hole. ¿Y a ti, Ned?
La verdad es que si accedí a no presentar cargos por aquel penoso incidente fue porque me aseguraste que tanto tú personalmente como todo el equipo directivo del Liberty Tree erais partidarios decididos de Hole.
Pero ahora te veo vacilar. El artículo sobre Donald Love ha sido una desgracia. Todo el mundo en esta ciudad sabe que es un enfermo, incapaz de vivir fuera de una institución y mucho menos de gobernar el ayuntamiento. A pesar de lo cual parece que lo apoyáis.
Por si fuera poco, parece que ese cretino de O´Donovan va a volver. Todos seríamos mucho más felices si alguien escribiera un buen artículo en el que una "fuente bien informada" hiciera una relación pormenorizada de lo que contiene su historial de abuso de sustancias, prostitución y corrupción.
Un tío así consigue que R.C. parezca un santo. A fin de cuentas, el tribunal decretó que R.C. no sabía que fueran menores y que no tenía razones para sospechar que los carnés de conducir fueran falsos. Vamos, Ned, por favor.
La ciudad necesita un auténtico alcalde, como el que tiene ahora: un millonario, sin integridad ni preocupación por los problemas sociales, sí, pero uno de los nuestros.

She complains that Burner and the Liberty Tree newspaper are starting to waver in their support for Mayor Hole, reminding Burner that she didn't press charges for the fondling incident but expected support for Hole in return. She also complains about articles on businessman Donald Love and Miles O'Donovan, the main opponent of Hole. She then suggests writing an article of O'Donovan and his history of substance abuse, prostitution and corruption. She ends her e-mail by asking Ned to keep up his support for Hole, saying the city needs a 'real' Mayor.
