Hitting the wrong turtle will cost Banjo a honeycomb, so it is best to approach Tiptup and ask him to repeat the sequence if the player forgets rather than hitting random turtles. The Tiptup Choir also appears in Grunty's Furnace Fun in one of the mini-games.

Strangely, after Banjo completes the challenge and exits and then re-enters Tanktup's shell, the choir (and Tiptup) have mysteriously disappeared. They will only reappear if the player exits and then re-enters the Bubblegloop Swamp level. Where exactly the Choir disappears to during this time is unknown. The songs are in order by lesson.
