- Nephthys (ネフティス Nefutisu?) is a "bizarre magician", a magic god, who dwells in a territory beyond a certain layer of the world.
- Nephthys was one of the planned characters for Underfist: Against the Astrovampires and in the Underfist series. She is the Egyptian Goddess of Mourning and the daughter of Anubis, the Egyptian God of the Dead.
- Nephthys or Nebthet is the goddess of the night in Egyptian mythology. She is one of the five children of Geb and Nut. She is also the wife of Set, the god of chaos, and the youngest of the five gods who were born to Geb and Nut. Despite marrying Set, she often supports her brother Osiris and nephew Horus in their quests. She is also often shown as a water goddess, and is often seen in illustrations with a river by her side. She is a member of the Ennead of Heliopolis.

- Nephthys is the Egyptian goddess of mourning and lamentation, sleep, rivers, the night, service, and the home, a friend and protector of the dead. She was born on the Fifth Demon Day. In a later life, she married her former brother Set and became the mother of Anubis.
- During the days of ancient Egypt, Nephthys was a member of the Kinfolk of the Silent Striders and fought alongside Shu-Horus against Set and established contact between the Cult of Isis and the Silent Striders. She also aided Isis in the resurrection of Osiris. But then came the day when she accepted the Embrace from Set in order to live eternally and tried to seduce Shu-Horus to the same fate. He resisted and tore her to shreds, but not after being cursed by her for the perceived injustice of her fate.
- Her reasoning was released in 2000 BCE when robbers were plundering her pyramid and broke the canopic jar in which it was stored. In an attempt to escape her prison, she made arrangements to have her reasoning transferred into the mind of Nyssa, believing that Nyssa's mind would be easier for her to escape from. Her power and instinct were transferred into a clone of Rassul's daughter, Rassul hoping that the restoration of Nephthys's mind would also restore his daughter in her original body. The Fifth Doctor and Tegan were able to defeat this plan by switching Nyssa with her double, Lady Ann Cranleigh, tricking Nephthys into believing that Nyssa had "woken up" in 1926 and the aspect of Nephthys that she possessed had been released at that point. Nephthys was the goddess said in Egyptian mythology to have shed large tears upon the death of Osiris, but strangely enough, no other stories were known about her. For that reason, some speculated her divinity had been built up by human hands based on the “crying woman” hired to attend funerals. She later on weakens herself by splitting up her infinite power into infinite parts, so that she can exist in the real world without destroying it.
- Nephthys improves Egyptian heroes, making her a good choice against an enemy that is mass-producing Myth Units. She improves the attack of both Priests and Pharaohs, making them devastating to Myth Units. Priests are also made cheaper, and the Pharaoh is improved all round. The units also have their healing abilities greatly improved, making armies heal quicker so they can attack again sooner. The Leviathan is unique as it is a myth unit naval transport.
- Nephthys (ネフティス Nefutisu) is a Marine Rear Admiral stationed at G-6. She is also a crossbreed born from a sky islander father and a Majin mother, thus giving her physical traits from both sides; including a pair of wings on her back. As a Majin tribesman born into the tribe's warrior caste, Nephthys was raised from an early age to be a fighter and soldier. She eventually enlisted herself within the Marines to put her skills to good use. During the invasion of G-6 in One Dream's G-6 Arc, Nephthys ended up fighting Blade D. Kris, who dispatched Nephthys after a hard fought battle.
- Nephthys was known in some ancient Egyptian temple theologies and cosmologies as the "Useful Goddess" or the "Excellent Goddess". These late Ancient Egyptian temple texts describe a goddess who represented divine assistance and protective guardianship. Less well understood than her sister Isis, Nephthys was no less important in Egyptian religion as confirmed by the work of E. Hornung, along with the work of several noted scholars.
