  • (Brief introduction)
  • Roger Bacon was The Resistance organiser for Somerset.
  • Roger Bacon was a early philosopher who is remembered for his contributions to the modern scientific method, building on the ideas of Greek and Arabic scientists. In the series, he was an immortal agent of Isis and Osiris, and is refered to as Dr. John Dee's predecessor (i.e., his masters' preferred human servant). Under his masters' orders, he attempted to intercept Nicholas and Perenelle flamel in Spain, however the attack failed. His failures eventually caused him to fall out of favour with his masters, who revoked his immortality (resulting in his death).
