Darth Saido was the only Neo-Sith High Lord aside from Darth Andrell, and was second-in-command of the whole organization. One of the first members of the Neo-Sith, Andrell began training the former Jon Bleathel when he was ten years old, after finding him homeless in an alley in Corellia's capital city. Saido gained knowledge of the Force quickly and showed from the beginning that he was a natural leader. Over the years, Saido proved his strength and wisdom many times, rising through the "ranks" quickly, Saido eventually became a High Lord (the Neo-Sith had not established an official ranking system until a few years after Saido had earned his title).

Over the years, Saido proved his strength and wisdom many times, rising through the "ranks" quickly, Saido eventually became a High Lord (the Neo-Sith had not established an official ranking system until a few years after Saido had earned his title). For the few years he was Administrator, Darth Saido became highly respected by all the Neo-Sith, and was a good friend to Darth Andrell and Jada Yory, the two people he worked the most closely with. Though he was a shy and reserved man, he maintained a rock solid organization and had no problem speaking from his seat on the Neo-Sith Council or whenever something needed to be done. However, Saido had a natural inclination toward the dark side of the Force, and he spent most of his life fighting it, though most of the Neo-Sith could not tell it due to Saido's resolve. Darth Saido encountered and fought former Jedi Jado Stuuroum aboard the Arcturus in 40 ABY. Though Saido was every match for Jado, Jado's sudden and mysterious upwelling of power from the dark side threw the High Lord out of his personal alignment, thus weakening his abilities as the Jedi continued to gain strength. Jado used the dark side to kill Saido in a rather cruel manner, cutting off both of his arms, Force choking him, and finally running him through after he had already passed. Darth Andrell was hurt deeply by the loss of his friend in such a wanton way, at the hands of someone claiming to be working for the light side of the Force. However, Saido's death would not be in vain; Andrell sensed that Jado's strong use of the dark side had in fact thrown him out of alignment as well, and used this to defeat him when they encountered each other soon afterward.
