Ever since the invention of Nuclear weapons that became possible. Somehow we've been able to avoid that conflict. In the near future.. we don't. It is not known exactly how many thousand warheads detonated throughout the world. Humankind and much of the earth descended into a dark age like no other. Only about 10 percent of the population has survived, however another species has arisen: Mutants. Such as the name suggests they were once indeed humans, however as generations began to pass.. It began doubtful that the two could co-exist peacefully. In the middle of this survival between two species, a city located where Phoenix used to be, (Now called New Phoenix, or 'The Dome') as referenced by its large polycarbonate lead-lined glass geo-dome. It is a place where humans did not have to adapt to the radiation but society indeed has changed... a virtual bee hive, each human given a task, each receiving all that they need to survive. Outside the Dome lies Survivors, those who drift the desert looking for a better life, resistant against the radiation, due to their unique genes.
