- A Shy Guy is a monster with 3 eyes. He's too shy to let anyone see his face, so he has put a "cute" mask on his face. Shy Guys live in your toilet so make sure to always flush. His eyes got poked out, so it is black. Some people mistake him for a dead cow. Most Shy Guys live alone because every time they go out in public some weirdo mistake them as copyright-destroying Link impersonators and try to shoot them down.

- Shy Guy is a guy. Who is shy. One of Bowser's shyher minions,he tends to be silent and just stare at you through his eye holes. Recent study has shown that Shy Guy is a flavour of toast and also are clones of George W. Bush. Another rumour is they are Toads exposed to the Weegee Stare, but weren't fully turned. This is believed to be directly related to their shyness and wearing of masks. It is shown that Shy Guys are marked as an endangered species due to their constant destruction via Italian Plumbers and shot due their potential resemblance to George W. Bush. Bowser keeps them around because he couldn't sell them to Squadala Man, so he had to keep them against the will of everyone else.

Shy Guys have variants in their color, but the only differences between them is that all colors but blue shy guys will turn around at the edge of a platform while red shy guys will walk off edges.

- Shy Guy(JP) is an enemy from the Mario series that first appeared in the irrelevant Yume Kōjō: Doki Doki Panic. This enemy never shows its true face to anyone and covers it up with a mask. The suits that this foe wears comes in plenty of colors such as red, blue, green, yellow and white. Over each suit is a white mask that covers its face. Even though it debuted in the non-Mario game Yume Kōjō: Doki Doki Panic, many state that it's more of an enemy from the Yoshi series than from the Mario series as Shy Guy appeared in all of the games in the Yoshi series.
