Henry Van Statten is an antagonist who appears in the Doctor Who episode "Dalek". He was the CEO of the American corporation GeoComTex and a collector and exploiter of alien technology, as well as the billionaire owner of the Internet in 2012. He owned a secret underground museum in Utah known as "The Vault" where he stored his alien tech, including a badly-damaged Dalek believed to be the last one in existance. He was portrayed by American actor Corey Johnson.

Van Statten had been collecting extraterrestrial artifacts on the grey market for years, buying bits and pieces of alien technology at auctions and then reverse engineering them to create "new" technologies which he would then exploit commercially. He claimed to "own" the Internet, and said that broadband was derived from technology scavenged from the Roswell crash. He kept these artifacts in a private collection, inside a bunker called the Vault more than fifty floors below ground in Utah near Salt Lake City. (TV: Dalek)

Van Statten fit l’acquisition sur le marché noir de nombreux artefacts extraterrestres au fil des années. Il s'en servit pour créer de nouvelles technologies afin de les exploiter pour faire du profit. Selon lui, il possédait Internet, et la technologie de haut débit provenait d'ailleurs du vaisseau écrasé à Roswell. Il conservait ces artefacts dans un musée privé, cinquante étages sous le sol de l'Utah près de Salt Lake City. Ses objets étaient étudiés par un jeune génie anglais, Adam Mitchell.
