  • Mossflower is the forest in which Redwall Abbey is located, and in which most of the Redwall books take place. To the southwest lies Salamandastron, to the far south is Southsward, and to the north are the mountainous Northlands which are the Mossverse's equivalent of Scotland. Mossflower is a very pretty forest, containing lots of trees, flowers, etc. Unfortunately, it's also very dangerous to wander around alone. Travellers can expect to encounter pike streams, vicious birds of prey, very large and easily-damaged bee and wasp nests, and random groups of hungry or bored vermin.
