He was the shadow cabinet member for the Head of Government for the Christian Democratic Party in Deltaria. A conservative leader, he proposed numerous reforms for Deltaria and watched the surprising collapse of the Social Democratic Party of Deltaria. In June 2588, the Christian Royalist Party did poorly in the election gaining only 26 seats out of 500 total. Within months he became overwhelmed politically by the other political parties of Deltaria; his dream for a Kennedy Monarchy in Deltaria was finished. Hoping to collect his losses, Smith and the Christian Royalist Party exited Deltaria in December of 2588.
