- Rad has posted various things, he has posted one game, "Prime Wing" a shooter game. He has posted various audio titles, including "This Song Needs More Yiff" He does not post on the BBS, but is very active on chat. On July 24th, Rad was voted to Chat mod. He is known to be a very fair and nice person. Also he likes tacos and ponies.
- The Rad (ラッド Raddo?) is a small Trion Warrior specializing in reconnaissance and spying, its very similar to a remodeling machine that installs gate-outbreak devices. They usually hide themselves inside another Warrior, and after it is destroyed, the Rad conceals itself underground. When there are no more people in its surroundings, it starts to move around in places with lots of people in the vicinity and it enters the gate starting-setup mode. To open the gate it gathers Trion little-by-little from the people who walk close to it. They are usually found in large numbers nearing the thousands.
- The rad was a unit of radiation dose. This form of measurement was still used by the Federation during the 24th century.
- Rad was base commander of the Kimia Facility until it crashed in 2015. He's since worked on making the remains of the crashed into a working research facility once more. He was largely successful until the remaining facility was destroyed in 2017.
- Rad is a film about BMX racing, first released in the USA in 1986. The film was written by Sam Bernard and Geoffrey Edwards and directed by Hal Needham. It stars Bill Allen and Lori Loughlin. Parts of this movie were filmed in Cochrane, Alberta, as well as at Colonel Macleod Jr. High School and Bowness Park, both in Calgary, Alberta.
- Rad is a truck in Excite Truck that looks like a slightly larger and longer version of the truck Wolf. Rad is unlocked after getting 6000 lifetime stars. Like all other trucks in the game, Rad's alternate paint job is unlocked by achieving three S grades with it or ten non S grade races. Like all other trucks in the game, Rad has its own distinctive engine noise. Rad's engine sound is a low, steady hum, similar to Boulder's engine.

- School, homework and hairy, grunting professors were not really Rad's thing, when all he wanted to do was to surf the fresh powder snow at the break of dawn. As a result, during a Frozn tactical exam, the experimental cryoplasma bombs ended up exploding in his face. Ever since then, Rad has become Tiwi Ld's favorite subject for study as his body is starting to change texture. So is he the ultimate Frozn weapon or jut a young agitator who learnt his lesson in a very cruel way? Who can say what personality now lurks behind his mask of ice!

- The Honorable Judge Radford Beaktoiski, or more simply, Rad or Judge Rad, is a presiding judge in the juvie circuit for the Rooks Borough of South Pole City. Presiding over the lowest possible level of court hierarchy, he nonetheless makes it his programmer-sent mission to put chicks in Juvie and house arrest for as long as he is legally permitted to do so. Why does he do this? Apparently, it stems from jealousy with his younger brother, who performs insane stunts daily and gets away with it.

- Reito does not initially appear in Mai-Otome, but the character Rad has his voice. Rad is a cyborg and member of the Aswad. While originally human, the mysterious disease that plagues that Aswad progressed to a point where he had to have his nervous system and brain implanted in a metal body to continue living. 14 years prior to the main events of My-Otome, he was one of the attackers on the Windbloom Kingdom, coming into conflict with the former Otome Lena Sayers and killing her. He can summon a dog-like slave similar to a Cerebrus and fights with a double-bladed spear. His body is now expiring, as all cyborgs in the Aswad eventually do, which will result in his eventual death.
- Kirby wird zu Rad-Kirby, wenn er einen Wheelie oder Mega Wheelie einsaugt. Er wird nun auf Befehl hin zu einem extrem schnellen rosa Rad, das Gegner einfach überfährt und sogar über Wasser fahren kann. In Kirby: Mausattacke konnte das Rad nach Auffinden der Rad-Schriftrolle durch Feuer, Eis und Elektrizität verstärkt werden, indem man durch diese fährt. Das Rad geht daraufhin in Flammen auf, es kann Wasser unter sich eineisen oder Gegnern elektrische Schläge verpassen, je nachdem, welche Eigenschaft es gerade hat.
