Thula was a talented swindler and smuggler. She and the Umbaran Squa Tront were employed by the Black Sun agent Kaird. They both had to infiltrate into the sending system and managed to steal the Bota. Then, they had to encase the product in carbonite and sent it to Kaird, in order to be property of the Black Sun. Instead of following the Nediji's plan, Thula and Squa betrayed Kaird and filled the carbonite case with explosives. Kaird narrowly escaped death and vowed revenge, but Thula and Squa had flown away.

- When Spurs Jackson and his Space Vigilantes are taken to Mars by Martian invaders lead by Korok , Queen Thula is forced by law to abdicate her throne. Talking with Thula afterward, Spurs discovers it was because Korok used Spurs and his ranch hands Strong Bow and Hank Roper as evidence he had conquered Earth. Spurs is infurated at Korok's deceit, as is Hank when he overhears the conversation. Hank goes to attack he palace with his sixguns, but an invisible shield protects the guards from all metal projectiles. This include the plutonium gun Spurs brought along.

Thula is thousands of years old and was born on Viltrum. She made an appearance along with other Viltrumites when Thragg was named Grand Regent.
Viltrumite War
Thula hid among the deceased on Viltrumite and readied a surprise attack. As the Coalition Of Planets arrived to the battlefield, she sprang her attack on Thaedus with the blade attached to her hair. She was attacked by Battle Beast and would later battled him, among other Coalition members. She survived the shockwave of Viltrum's destruction .She retreated with Thragg and other Viltrumites after their losses
Post Viltrumite War
Thula, like other Viltrumites, was hiding among Earth's inhabitants . She aided Anissa, Kregg, and Lucan with the plot to kill Thragg. However, Nolan asked them to spare him. Later she attended Nolan's inauguration as Emperor, as well as Thragg's sentence to exile.The Death of Everyone
She would make a cameo appearance as she was in the Viltrumite Warship when Thragg calls them to not interfere to Earth's events Robot's Takeover
Thula and other Viltrumites were visited by one of Robot's advanced drones
