Asexual Reproduction is when an organism (normally cells) reproduces its species or offspring by dividing itself into a larger number (One cell becomes two after asexual reproduction). Organisms (typically cells) that reproduce sexually use a process called Meiosis. The biological father cell of the offspring shares half of its DNA as well as the biological mother cell.

- Asexual reproduction was a mode of reproduction by which offspring arose from a single parent, and inherited the genes of that parent only. Tribbles were "bisexual" (dual sexed) and were capable of reproducing at will. Born pregnant, and with sufficient food, a single tribble could breed in number exponentially, producing a litter of ten in twelve hours time. (TOS: "The Trouble with Tribbles" ) Xindi-Insectoids also reproduced asexually. (ENT: "Hatchery")
- Asexual reproduction is a method of reproduction where a single parent creates an offspring that is genetically identical to the parent.
- The user of this power can reproduce their species without the requirement of a partner or mate.
