It is considered too heavy to be used for operations other than surface-to-surface combat. The T3-B's ordinance consists of long-range proton missiles and heavy blaster cannons. Although it isn't strong enough to take on an AT-AT head-on, its proton missiles give it a longer range and it is more maneuverable. A skilled crew can stay out of an AT-AT's firing arc while the turret hammers the Imperial craft until it falls, giving the T3-B a fierce reputation.
