He prided himself to be the best person to ask for advice. However, he constantly butchered figures of speech, gave off platitudes and showed hints of early stages of dementia. Yet he had somehow managed to convince the people of Vesper to elect Auston to mayor. Besides talking, he also offered the Avatar his services as provisioner.

The only thing notable was, that like most humans of Vesper, he was racist against the Gargoyles and felt that "attack is the best defense" against them. Besides talking, he also offered the Avatar his services as provisioner.
