- The main characters of the series with 5-10 year old children who operate from a high-tech tree house. Their mission is to fight "crimes" against kids (such as homework and flossing) committed by adults, senior citizens, teenagers, and other evil children. They make up what is known as Sector V of a worldwide organization called the Kids Next Door. The show was also part of Cartoon Network's series, Cartoon Cartoons, and is the 13th Cartoon of the series. On April 13, 2012, this series returned to Cartoon Network in re-runs on the revived block, "Cartoon Planet".
- Codename: Kids Next Door came to be in 2001 as part of a cartoon film festival event held by Cartoon Network, known as “The Big Pick”, in which the best-received cartoon out of those shown would be picked up as a full series. This was the second time the Big Pick had taken place, and it had spawned another hit show in the previous year. In 2012, KND was in 2 different polls for Cartoon Network's 20th birthday. It was nominated for "What show would you join?" (it lost to "Annoying Orange") and "Best Action team" (losing to the Ninjago ninjas).
- Codename: Kids Next Door (2001-2008) is an original animated series from Cartoon Network about a team of five ten-year-olds who are members of a secret organization that fights adult tyranny. It's much better than it sounds. Together, the KND of Sector V fight alongside their compatriots-in-childhood against numerous villains -- including the The Delightful Children From Down The Lane (and their creepy father, Father), Numbuh Five's traitorous teenage sister Cree, and the Corrupt Corporate Executive Mr. Boss -- who hate children and want them enslaved. It briefly aired on Miguzi at 4:00 p.m. The current stratus for this show is "Playing on Cartoon Network Video", meaning that it's not on Cartoon Network but you can watch it on Cartoon Network Video. Since some time in 2010, the series came back to Cartoon Network as reruns. Sometimes the show comes on weekdays at noon.
