Gresham Arnold was a minor character in the horror novel, It. During his adolescent years, he was a popular and highly-influential basketball player who led the Hemingford Rams into winning their first major high school championship in 1961. Unable to cope with his chronic stress, he eventually committed suicide by hanging himself (using his belt) in his bedroom's closet.
