| - Circle City Derby Girls, which began as Circle City Socialites, is an Indianapolis, Ind.-based flat track roller derby league that has played other leagues from Kentucky, Illinois, Michigan, Ohio, Missouri, and Iowa. Founded in 2008 with the idea it would serve as a recreational league, it is now a Womens Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA) Apprentice League as of April 2011 (). The league has two home teams: the Socialites and the Party Crashers. There are five regularly scheduled home bouts each season, which takes place April through August at the Forum at Fishers in Fishers, Ind., () and a handful of away bouts. The league does not hold try outs like other leagues, but does have a competitive roster selection process. The league requires all bouting skaters to pass a skills test and written rules test if they wish to compete for rosters. For more information, visit the league's home page, . This article is a stub.
