About: Pit Beast   Sponge Permalink

An Entity of Type : owl:Thing, within Data Space : dbkwik.webdatacommons.org associated with source dataset(s)

The beast was used to guard Shirob when he was supposedly captured by Trogg. In reality, it was (unwittingly) part of Trogg's plan to lure Miles "Tails" Prower to the Zone. The monster initially appeared to want to eat Shirob, but was furious when Tails and Errol Blackthorn stole his dinner. It continuously persued the fleeing gang until Tails decided to fight it on his own. Ready to eat, the Pit Beast leapt at its target but bashed its large head on the rocky ceiling. The creature was visibly unhappy with its lot, crying whilst holding its head and yelling choruses of "Ow!". After its "defeat", the Pit Beast was not seen again.
