Two versions of the TC630 were produced. This version replaced the earlier version in the European and USA markets in 1996. The other TC630, which had a resoncast body, continued to be produced for sale in Japan as well as Asia and South America. This version of the TC630 features a light ash body bolted to a maple neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with dot position markers. Components include three Sky lipstick-style single coil pickups and a floating synchronized tremolo bridge. The TC630 was discontinued after 1998 along with the entire Talman series of this era.
